December

Hello all! I hope this finds you doing well and having a great week so far! I just realized last week's stuff was not on here, so I am adding what I can remember...if I leave anything out, please excuse me- it was not done on purpose!!

Prayer Requests:
Allison's brother's wife is expecting new baby. Please pray for a quick and safe delivery.

Scott and Kelly are still facing problems getting pregnant and want a baby so badly. Please pray that their hearts will be comforted and that God's will be revealed. Please pray those who are close to them will know the right thing to say at the right time.

Lindsey's sister Haley is not a believer. Please pray that she will come to know God's saving grace. Please remember Lindsey as she tries to witness to her sister. Pray that God will give her the words she needs to make a difference in her sister's life.

Remember the man who hit the Sylvest family home one year ago. Please pray for his heart's conviction if he is not a believer and that he too will come to know the love of Jesus.

Remember the families who will be traveling. Please pray for traveling graces.

The Caviness family. Luke is not doing well. He is having more bad days than good. Elliot is gaining weight and his infection seems to be improving. Please pray for peace and comfort for Candice and Robby!

Winston's surgery is tomorrow (15th). Please pray for him, his aunt and those who will be caring for him before, during and after surgery.

Announcements:

November 29, 2009

Thanks Lindsey for a wonderful lesson this week! It was great to see our attendance up this week. For those not with us, we missed you and hope to see you Sunday!
PRAYER REQUESTS:
Caviness boys, Elliot and Luke. Were born at 24 weeks gestation in Georgia. Parents are Robby and Candice from Wetumpka. Got news today that Luke has had a setback and is now on a more aggressive vent. Elliot is off the vent and is only having to use the nasal cannula (this is great progress). Please remember Candice and Robby as they make very serious decisions regarding their new precious little ones. Candice and Robby were able to get a room at the Ronald McDonald House just minutes from the hospital.
Sylvest as they were traveling home from the mountains (they made it home safe and sound!).
Kelly and Scott- friends of Jenn and Obed- just had their 6th attempt at IUI fail. Now, they are facing more decisions. Please pray that they will seek God's will in this situation. Please pray for Kelly, her nerves and her frustration. Pray for Scott as he tries to handle all of this and be supportive for Kelly.
Will's roommate Chase has had a lot of Morman influence. Please pray that he followed through with his plans to become involved in a church once he returned home. Please pray that God will lead Christians to Chase's path to witness to him and possibly lead him to Christ.
Lindsey's friend from HS who is now uncertain of his beliefs in the "whole God thing." Please pray that he will remember who it is that he came to know and trust so many years ago and that others will be Godly influences in his life.
Evelyn-Heather's great aunt-is 82, fell and had to have hip replacement. She came through surgery well and is doing much better. Please pray for a speedy recovery.
Winston Hunt-Obed's student. He needs the knee surgery. Please pray that his aunt will keep Winston's best interest at heart and that he will get the treatment and opportunities that he needs and deserves. Also remember to pray for positive adult influence in Winston's life. Pray that they will demonstrate the love of Christ through their interactions with him.
ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Christmas on the Coosa- our booth. Please think of a time that you can sign up to man the booth and hand out hot chocolate.
Soap- our class has been assigned soap to bring to distribute to needy families. Please bring this to SS.
Social- we discussed doing dinner out on a weeknight. Please be thinking of a night that would be good for you so we can get this on the calendar soon.
Have a blessed week! See you Sunday!
