Sunday August 16, 2009

It was good to see those who could make it this week and missed those who were unable to join us. We had a great lesson with the Pathfinders class but look forward to the Sylvest's return. Thanks Wiggins family for breakfast!

PRAYER REQUESTS:
Sylvest family- Charles' brother, Jody was laid to rest Sunday afternoon. Please continue to remember the Sylvest family as they sort through paperwork and take care of loose ends. Losing a son, father, brother and uncle is difficult. Please remember them when you pray. Pray for comfort and healing of a broken heart. Rejoice in the fact that Jody was a born again believer and they will be reunited with him one day.

Katie Frederick's friend is having a tough time in her marriage. Please pray for this couple and that Katie will find the words to say to help the situation.

Mattie Cannon- Elisha's grandmother fell and is having a tough time. Please pray for healing and restoration.

Pullen's (? spelling) family- This is the man who was killed in a motorcycle accident on Friday. Please be in prayer for this family as they move through the grieving process. He was Courtney Barrett's uncle.

Allison's friend's mother in Mississippi is in poor condition. Please be in prayer for her and those caring for her.

Cindy Wood's friend in Louisiana is battling breast cancer and has also been back and forth from the hospital with staph infection. Please pray for a speedy recovery and peaceful rest.

Troops and our President- as wars continue to rage and government continues to make decisions that will influence all of our lives, please be in prayer for all those involved. Remember the family members of the fighting troops who are left at home.
