Sunday July 30, 2009

It was so nice to see everyone this past week. We missed those who were out and look forward to seeing your seats filled with your smiling faces this Sunday. Welcome Bridgmon's. We are so glad you were with us for worship during our Bridge Builder time. We hope you will join us again!! Thanks Laura Beth for the great message that you shared with us. It has been my prayer this week that the Lord would reveal those to whom I can be a witness to- much like the Ninivites (?spelling) needed Jonah's witness.

PRAYER REQUESTS:
April Boler- Allison's friend who is going through a difficult time. Please pray that the Lord would lead and guide in a way only He can. Please pray that He would give her peace and understanding.

The Frederick's have friends who are having marriage troubles. Please pray that if this couple is not in church, that they will give themselves and their marriage to the Lord. Please pray that the Frederick's can be the Godly witnesses that this couple needs.

The Sylvest family still covets prayers. Please pray specifically for Jodie's mom (Charles' mom) and Jodie's children. There are legal issues still at hand and they will need the Lord's guidance to make decisions. The sorrow of losing a loved one never fully goes away, but please pray that the Lord can ease the pain.
Please pray for the driver of the truck, Simeon, that he will come to know the Lord's goodness and saving grace.

There are teams in Texas fighting fires. Please be in prayer for them and their families while they are away and traveling home. Please pray for their safety and for rest.

Kasson- a little guy born prematurely. Pray that he will be able to rest well and his body will develop the way it should. Please remember his family as they sit beside him. Please pray for peace of mind and comfort that God is in control.

The German family of the 2 teens in the ATV accident. The 16 year old male is still in ICU with setbacks from the weekend. Please pray that this father will know what steps need to be taken. Also, the patient's mother is in vegetative state in Germany. The patient's father has said that he does not know if he believes in God anymore because he prayed for his mother when she was in an accident and she died, he has prayed for his wife and she is in the state she is in and now this. Please pray that those he comes in contact with during his stay in the US can be Godly influences. Please pray that he will see Christs' love through us and that he will believe in the awesome power of Jesus.

Heather will be having oral surgery Friday. Please pray for James as he cares for her during recovery (I can be a BABY!!).
